CAPTURE THE SCENE!

The Bob Jones Nature Center Camera Club will meet regularly on the third Saturday of the month at 3:30 pm at the Bob Jones Nature Center, 355 E. Bob Jones Road, Southlake, TX  76092. The club promotes sharing and learning among photographers of all ages and skill levels. The program topics range from equipment and technology to photographic and digital techniques and tips to appeal to all interests.  

A critique session is held at the Nature Center facility the first Monday of each month at 7:00pm.  For more information, contact Bruce Rosenstiel at 817.528.5993 or e-mail at cameraclub@bjnc.org.

 Nov. 15  Cross-Processing Members process each others' images to learn more about composition, processing styles, and software options.
 Jan. 17 The Macro World Interactive workshop introducing and using extension tubes, magnifying filters, tethering, stacking, and flash to capture the unseen world.
 Feb. 21 NIK and On One Software Introduction to NIK and On One suite of photo processing software products.
 Mar. 21 Cross-Processing Members process each others' images to learn more about composition, processing styles, and software options.
Apr. 18 Getting Artistic Using Photoshop textures, blend modes, and masks to create artistic versions of your images.
May 16 Topaz and Corel Paint Software Introduction to Topaz and Corel suite of photo processing software products.
June 20 Getting More from Flash! Interactive workshop using on and off camera flash for portraits, macros, and wildlife for fill, exposure, and to freeze action.
July 18 Business of Photography The ins and outs of selecting photos to market, setting up a website, marketing, exhibiting, professional printing, framing, copyright protection, payment process, etc. This program could be a general presentation with a Q & A format, drawing from the experiences, idea, and talents of the more experienced members.
 Aug. 15 Cross-Processing Members process each others' images to learn more about composition, processing styles, and software options.
Sept. 19 Black-and-White Discussion and workshop on selecting and composing images of B&W processing and selecting and using the software for processing.
