Nature's Nest Gift Shop / Program Material Preparation
The Gift Shop is a great place to be if you enjoy meeting people and have an interest in retail sales.

Special Events
Events require many volunteers throughout the year.

Native Plant Garden
Help with the care and maintenance of the facility's Native Texas beds and the Butterfly Garden.

Teen Volunteers
Teens 14 years and older are especially needed during the summer to help at Camp Summer Oaks, an 8-week nature and science camp for 3 through 9 year olds during June, July, and August. Applications and orientation are required; orientation will begin in May. A minimum commitment of one week is required.

Youth can also volunteer by helping with program preparation and at special events and community work days.  To learn about volunteer opportunities, e-mail bobjonesnaturecenter@hotmail.com to get on the e-mail list. 

Eagle Scout and Gold Award Projects
Eagle Scout and Gold Award candidates are invited to contact the BJNCO for possible projects. Candidates are asked to complete a project request form and contact the BJNCO at 817.939.1110 or e-mail bobjonesnaturecenter@hotmail.com to set up an appointment.

Youth Groups and Community Groups

Community groups are welcome to work on special projects or to help with landscape and preserve needs. Groups should complete a Project Request Form and contact the BJNCO.
