We have both custom programs and scheduled workshops.  

Scout Custom Programs

To sign up for custom programs, call the City of Southlake Community Services office at 817.748.8019.  The Community Services representative will ask you to complete a form with contact names and number, tentative dates, and tentatiave program needs.  The program leader will contact you to confirm the date and program needs. Program fees are due at the Community Service offic prior to the schedule workshop.

Girl Scout Badge Workshops

During the transition to new Girl Scout Journeys and badges, please e-mail msager@verizon.net for more specifics on Girl Scout programs.  See above process for scheduling.  Also, please check out Earth Day program below. 

Cub Scout Achievement and Elective Programs

BJNC offers Cub Scout Tiger, Wolf and Bear programs "custom" programs.

CUB SCOUT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP / BOY SCOUT PHOTOGRAPHY MERIT BADGE WORKSHOP

Available upon request.  Plan a den or troop workshop and participate in the 2012 Bob Jones Nature Center Photography Contest.  Workshop participants receive a discount on entries. For more information about the Contest, go to BJNC Photo Contest.  For more information, contact brosenstiel@verizon.net.

These 2-hour workshops help Cub Scout Webelos earn their Forester, Geologist and Naturalist badges. Cub Scouts can sign up individually or by den.  Dens are encouraged to sign up together.

Boy Scout and Girl Scout Earth Day Celebration

Celebrate Earth Day at the interactive stations along the trails fo the Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve.  Scouts will have an opportunity to work on nature-related journeys, achievements, badges, and electives.  Snacks will be provided; scouts and adult volunteers will need to bring a lunch. 

PLEASE NOTE:  The Celebration is for registered scouts ONLY with adult volunteers; no "tagalongs."

TROOP AND DEN DISCOUNT: If a leader / adult volunteer assists with an Earth Day station (training provided and required), the troop or den receives $2 off each scout attendee.
