Birthday Parties

Birthday parties at the Nature Center are a natural way to celebrate an important milestone in the life of a child. 

Bring your birthday party to the BJNC! We provide fun nature-oriented activities for children from ages 2-12. For all age groups, parents will provide the food and beverages, and the Nature Center will supply the party venue, biodegradable paper products and cutlery, and a gift bag for each of the guests. Balloons and candles are not permitted. Each party is planned for one and a half hours.

Fall is a great time to schedule a birthday party at the Nature Center!

Cost: $179 for 10 children; $15 for each additional child. Maximum of 20.

Parties must be reserved 2 weeks in advance. All parties must be prepaid. Please make sure you have a total count for your party.  To insure the best birthday party experience, download and read over birthday party procedures.

BJNC BIRTHDAY PARTY PROCEDURES

Ages 2 - 5

For our younger guests, our parties include nature strolls, songs, games, and crafts based on one of the following themes:

Fairies and Flowers

Dinosaurs

Furry Friends

Insect Investigators

Frogs are Fun

Ages 6-12

Each party is guided by an experienced educator/naturalist who will lead the group in hands-on experiences selected to suit the age group of the party.  Suggested themes include:

Skins, Scales, and Skulls

Fossil Finders

Trail Blazers

Twisting Twigs/Squashing Flowers
