2008 Board of Directors

Governance of Bob Jones Nature Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, is provided by a nine member Board of Directors. The Board elects its officers annually during the first meeting of it board year which begins on January 1.

The Board meets at least quarterly in accordance with its bylaws. Currently, the Board is meeting at 6:30 pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the Community Center, Bicentennial Park, Southlake. BJNC members and volunteers are especially encouraged to attend meetings which are open to the general public. The Nature Center And Preserve operates under a Scope of Services Agreement with the City of Southlake, collaborating with City staff to plan and develop facilities and expand public services and programs.
