There’s lots to do at Bob Jones Nature Center-some of it just for fun, and all of it educational. Want to make a discovery? Explore the trails of our preserve on the hunt for a geocache. (Don’t know what a geocache is? See below.) You can join a club to learn about photography. Or get into composting (we’ll at least stand nearby and watch). Or just take in the beauty of our gardens. Whatever you do, you’ll be part of nature at BNJC and, naturally, you’ll have a great time.
The land around the BJNC is home to a wide variety of bird species. Watch for them on your own, or join a bird walk with the Southlake Ornithological Society.
Watch demonstrations and learn how you can grow a greener garden through composting.
Geocaching is a GPS-assisted adventure on the trails of the nature preserve. Clues will lead you to a geocache and you can leave your mark for those who follow.
